These parts are laser cut form 3M 5952 VHB (Very High Bond) 1.1mm black acrylic double sided migrating adhesive tape.

Prior to installing, a degrease and keying of both mating surfaces are highly recommended. This can be achieved with a solvent based degreasing solution or wipe and then a light sand ot scotch brite to break the surface of the substrates. Pressure is to be applied by hand or with a roller to active the adhesion process on the tape is in position on the assembly. The initial tack of the tape is likely to be low as it is a low tack migrating tape and will take a day or two to migrate and set. Some car polish and paints may reduce the effectiveness of the bond of the tape.
